URBAN HIVE MILANO, Milan – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and spacious, but somewhat small given the current focus on energy conservation. The service was top-notch from the friendly and helpful staff, especially at the bar. The location was wonderful, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a good selection but some items not up to standard. Overall, a decent stay with some highlights and drawbacks.

The hotel offers spacious rooms, albeit a bit dated in style and maintenance compared to the price. The individual bed in my room was tiny and the decor felt old-fashioned, impacting the overall experience. The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was ideal, close to the metro and within walking distance to Brera's Accademia. Dining options were varied, catering to different tastes, but the continental breakfast was very basic. The facilities were satisfactory, with nothing extraordinary but fulfilling the basic needs.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-great aspects. The rooms were a bit out of date but in decent condition; however, they were unbearably hot even with the window open, and the folding double bed with squeaky springs was not very comfortable. On the bright side, the location was fantastic in the lively area of Brera with plenty of restaurants, but it was a bit challenging to find due to traffic rules. The service was helpful in providing local recommendations but had moments of distractibility. The dining experience offered tasty coffee drinks but was not consistent overall.

The rooms were spacious, with a small window letting in some natural light, making them comfortable and cozy; however, they were larger than most in the Milan city center. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to offer wine and whiskey tastings and was extremely pleasant and warm. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the Metro and nearby restaurants and shops. Dining was delicious, offering a variety of choices, although breakfast starting late might be inconvenient for early tours. The facilities were top-notch with everything I needed at my fingertips.
